Art has always been my anchor, a way to slow time and exist fully in the present moment. Since high school, I’ve explored a myriad mediums, but I always seem to return to the fluidity of acrylic and the richness of oil. Currently, I’ve been drawn to creating mountain-inspired pieces using texture compounds, allowing me to bring depth and dimension to my work. For me, painting is an act of meditation—a space where I can quiet my mind, focus on the movement of color and form, and find balance in the unpredictability of the creative process.

Artist Statement

My studio is not just a place of solitude but a shared space of exploration, where my son and I create side by side. Watching him embrace creativity with pure curiosity reminds me why I paint—not just for the final piece, but for the experience itself. I am inspired by the rawness of nature, the shifting light over the mountains, and the emotions that emerge in the process of layering, scraping, and blending. Through my work, I seek to capture both movement and stillness, a reflection of the mindful practice that art brings into my life.
